Recreational Soccer

Program Overview

Our Recreational soccer teams provide an opportunity for children ages 6 through 15 to have fun, learn soccer, and develop a lifelong love of the game. It is our goal to help kids develop quality soccer skills and build strong character through sportsmanship and teamwork. Our dedicated volunteer (usually parent) coaches strive to create an enjoyable environment while teaching both basic and advanced soccer skills.

Player Ages

Teams are formed based on grade level (using August 1- July 31 cutoffs)

For the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 season, here are the age categories:

U6: 8/1/2020- 7/31/2021* (please check out our U6 Program information)

U7: 8/1/2019- 7/31/2020

U8: 8/1/2018- 7/31/2019

U9: 8/1/2017- 7/31/2018

U10: 8/1/2016- 7/31/2017

U11: 8/1/2015- 7/31/2016

U12: 8/1/2014- 7/31/2015

U13: 8/1/2013- 7/31/2014

U14: 8/1/2012- 7/31/2013

U15: 8/1/2011- 7/31/2012

Program Details

Dates:

Fall 2026 Season AND Spring 2027 Season

Fall: Practices start late August with games starting after Labor Day and finishing at the end of October
Spring: Practices start mid April with games starting in late April and finishing in early June

Practices:

U7 and U8- once a week. Day of the week is picked by the volunteer coach
U9 and older- once to twice a week (typically twice a week). Day(s) of the week picked by the volunteer coach

Practice Locations:

Menomonee Falls Valley View Elementary School, Menomonee Falls High School, Menomonee Falls North Middle School

Games:

Mostly 1 game per weekend, but sometimes there will be 2 games in a weekend. 8 games in the Fall and 8 games in the Spring seasons.

Game Locations:

Home Games are played at Menomonee Falls High School Soccer Complex. Away games are played in surrounding communities (including mainly teams from Wauwatosa, Whitefish Bay, Nicolet, Milwaukee, Muskego and Mukwonago)

Uniforms:

All participants receive an MSC jersey, black shorts and black soccer socks. Players receive new uniforms every year. There are no extra fees for uniforms. There is a fee if you lose your uniform and need a replacement.

Equipment:

Players will need a soccer ball at practice and should wear shin guards covered by socks at practice and games. Soccer cleats are preferred but athletic shoes are also allowed.

U7/U8: $210
U9/U10: $280
U11 and older: $335
Prices increase by $20 in July and by $40 in August

Volunteering:

Without Volunteers, our club cannot exist. Coaching and assistant coaching are the 2 biggest needs but so is helping with field set up and lining as well as a variety of other tasks that come up. For Rec Soccer, we DO NOT charge a volunteer buyout fee in addition to the fees above, rather we hope everyone sees the need for volunteering and can help out when they can.

Players wanting to participate only in the Spring Season:

Spring Only players are welcomed, when there are roster spots available on our existing teams that are formed in the Fall. We try to place as many new players in the spring season as possible, but there are limits to the sizes of our teams. Unforunately we are not able to always place all interested Spring Only players.
Spring only pricing is as follows: U7/U8: $165, U9/U10: $205, U11 and older: $250
